If all the lines are the same length – go with the one on the far right. After you pass the identification checkpoint that line spreads into several smaller lines that move more quickly. I’ve tried this a few times now with concsistent results so I thought I’d share it with you.

oakland. i usually fly southwest (terminal 1). check your bagggage at the swa counter. then take a walk over to terminal 2 (3 mins) and go through security there. make your way back to terminal 1 through the connecting corridor.
Did you know the TSA actually published wait times? They will tell you the average and max wait time by airport. Check out http://waittime.tsa.dhs.gov/index.html
